It is any ones guess whether or not Tony Romo will be back in uniform leading the Dallas Cowboys as quarterback next season. I would list the odds at 50/50 simply because every defensive player now knows how to tackle him in a way to cause injury.
Many fans are excited about the prospect of Tim Tebow replacing Romo, but I just can't see that happening right now. While I like the clean cut image Tebow would bring to the team, the fact he does not have a good track record in the NFL does give me pause.
My personal choice as the replacement for Tony Romo would be Robert Griffin III (RG3). He too has a bad track record since joining the NFL, but I personally watched as he transformed the Baylor Bears football team from the joke of the Big-12 only a few years ago, to the assumptive champion every year since.
Sadly, the biggest obstacle standing in the way of the Dallas Cowboys signing a top tier young quarterback is team owner Jerry Jones. While it's clear Mr. Jones is highly capable of earning billions of dollars from the team, his ideas when it comes to winning another Super Bowl do not line up with most other owners or fans of the team.
