SAN ANTONIO - It's a miracle that Gavin Claybourne is alive. Doctors had to remove a fence pole from his chest following an accident early Wednesday morning. The 18-year-old was driving southbound in the 18800 block of Redland Road when he lost control of his vehicle on a curve, police said. Investigators said the teen's car struck a fence made of chain link and metal poles. Police said the top rail of the chain link fence went through the car's windshield, impaled Claybourne's chest and came out through the back of the vehicle.
