CENTRAL TEXAS - Pokemon Go is one of the hottest smartphone apps in the country right now with close to a million downloads per day. Since the app was released gamers say hundreds of people show up to Lions Park in Killeen and the Suspension Bridge in Waco every night to play the game. Many players say they can't get enough of the app. "Sometimes I come out here a couple times a day to play. With all the hate in the world a game like this just gets people from all walks of life all races and religions everywhere all involved in the same thing. It's great to get people united like that" says Waco Pokemon Facebook Club Founder Matthew Payne.
