What Is Your Favorite Texas Vacation?

For most folks, it's hard to decide which location in Texas is their favorite place to visit. For me, the answer is pretty simple. The Alamo City (San Antonio) is the place I love to visit because not only are there wonderful things to see, but the food sold on the famous Riverwalk there is worth the trip all on it's own. While San Antonio is my favorite Texas vacation location, I also love the Gulf Coast and the Texas Panhandle. Some of the sections of Palo Duro Canyon are breathtaking and I also think the vast cotton fields in Childress, Memphis and Vernon are something special to see in the fall.

With gasoline prices dropping almost by the minute, here is the lowest price we found today. Right now, 7:00pm on January 18, 2016, the lowest price for a gallon of gas we have found in Texas is at Buc-ee's located at 2403 N Mechanic St / W Loop Street in El Campo, Texas. ($1.29 per gallon). Last week, one convenience store in the Houston area offered gasoline for .99 cents (special promotion) for a few hours. I'm pretty sure they sold out in short order. If by chance you have found a lower price for a gallon of gas in Texas today, please feel free to comment with that price and location either on this page or via our Facebook & Twitter links below.
