JJ Watt Is NFL Role Model

Sadly, there are too few real life role models in the NFL today. However, there is one huge exception that seems to break the mold of National Football League 'spoiled brats' and that man is JJ Watt from the state of Texas. JJ has been in the hospital recently having groin surgery. During his stay, he has been tweeting out well wishes not only to Houston Texans fans. But also to the nurses and rehab folks who are helping with his recovery. Thank God there are some JJ Watt's not only in the NFL, but in the country as a whole. From my point of view, the 'bad boys' of the NFL get too much attention while great guys like Watt are ignored. We need more role models like JJ Watt in the world today.

The suspect, 32-year-old Kenton Desean Fryer from Arkansas, was arrested later that same day. What a great story of one Texan helping out another.

So far, 6-cases of this deadly virus have been confirmed in Texas with most of them being in the Houston area. Zika is transferred to humans via mosquito bites. Most of the Texas cases, so far, can be traced back to folks visiting Central and South America who brought the virus back home. Doctors with the CDC are recommending that people traveling south outside the United States to take extra precautions to avoid getting bit by mosquitoes.

Facebook & Instagram Ban Private Gun Sales

Two of the largest Internet companies in the world have decided to start cracking down on private gun sales on their popular social platforms. Facebook and Instagram will no longer allow private guns sales after President Obama and some state attorney general's requested them to do so. These companies will continue to allow licensed gun dealers to sell their products. This new rule will only affect private individuals who wish to sell guns on their social media sites. Do you think this is a good or bad idea?
