A man faces potential charges of driving while intoxicated after he barreled down the South Loop feeder road at about 100 miles per hour early Wednesday morning and crashed his pickup truck near NRG stadium in Houston.
The action kicked off around 3:45 a.m. when the man turned right from Main Street onto the 610 feeder road at double the speed limit.
The motorist darted in and out of traffic. Then, he lost control of his vehicle. The car skidded. Its tires slipped off the road before the vehicle drove up onto median between the feeder road and the highway and rammed into a sign, said Sgt. Thomas Fendia with the Houston Police Department's vehicle crimes division. Source: CHRON
