The National Weather Service survey teams have confirmed that an EF-2 tornado struck the Marshall area Friday night.
According to a NWS spokesperson on Saturday, the EF-2 struck the west side of Marshall, on I-20 in Harrison County.

The extent of the damage and wind force has not yet been released.
The NWS says they also had radar signatures of tornadoes in Sabine County and should survey the area soon.
