Retired Firefighter Chambers Still Missing

Investigators are combing for clues into the mysterious disappearance of a retired Dallas firefighter.

Michael Chambers, 70, was last seen Friday, March 10 in Hunt County.

Investigators are trying to figure out whether he left on his own or if he was forced to leave. According to KXAS, on Monday, authorities revealed a small amount of blood was found inside a shop next to his Quinlan home. The blood is currently being tested to see if an identity can be pulled from the sample.

Investigators believe he was in the shop at some point on Friday. He was gone by the time his wife returned at 7 p.m. Surveillance video shows him at a local Walmart at around 11 a.m.

Cash was found missing from the home.

Chambers worked as a Dallas firefighter for 36 years.

The former firefighter is 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 225 pounds. He is known to wear a Dallas Fire Department T-shirt and ball cap.
