Officials have arrested a man suspected of robbing a bank in Liberty City.
According to the Gregg County Sheriff's Office, at 2:50 p.m. on Friday, the Gregg County Sheriff's Office received information that a person meeting the description was located at a business on Cotton Street in Longview.
Investigators began looking for a subject described as a white or Hispanic male, average build with a mustache, in his late 40s to early 50s, wearing a light gray colored shirt and faded pants who left the scene on foot and later entered a white Chevrolet Avalanche with a black bumper guard.
A nearby trooper with the Texas Department of Public Safety was able to respond and locate a person meeting the given description. The subject was arrested on an unrelated charge by the DPS Trooper and transported to the Gregg County Jail without incident, according to the GCSO.
After obtaining a search warrant for the vehicle, investigators were able to charge Hector Camargo, 48 of Kilgore, with aggravated robbery.
