A large alligator was found Tuesday wandering through a Fort Bend County neighborhood.
Maj. Chad Norvell, of the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office, tweeted pictures of the animal soaking up the rain on Orchard Green Drive northeast of Richmond.
“Since we have nothing else to do right now, this big girl thought she would go for a walk,” Norvell said in his tweet.
Norvell said the gator didn’t seem particularly interested in moving.
A game warden wrangled and relocated the gator.
Officials said the animal was about 10 feet long and weighed about 200 pounds.
