Search teams shut down Lake Arlington on Saturday to search for a man who went missing the day before.
Arlington Fire Department said the man’s family called to report him missing around 6pm on Friday, about two hours after he went out on the lake riding his jetski. That jetski was found just hours later along the bank of the lake.
According to family, the man is a 43-year-old husband and father of three sons.
The man’s family said he was not wearing a lifejacket and though they remain hopeful he will be found alive, they want everyone to learn from the incident and practice safety and caution while on the water.
Several agencies are taking part in the search, including Arlington and Grand Prairie fire departments.
