A Hudson ISD kindergarten teacher was arrested Saturday.
Heather Robertson was charged with four counts of improper relationship between educator and student.
Superintendent Mary Ann Whiteker said that Robertson is "no longer an employee of the district. All the findings of the investigation were turned over to authorities."
Whiteker clarified on Friday that the incident did not occur on school property nor during school hours.
After a DWI arrest on March 30, Robertson was given a verbal warning that she would lose her job if this were to happen again, according to Whiteker.
Robertson is currently in the Angelina County Jail under a $200,000 bond.
