Help Odessa Police Find Robert Michael Navarette


The Odessa Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a suspect wanted for the robberies of two convenience stores.

Robert Michael Navarette, 33, is wanted for Aggravated Robbery and Theft of Property.

According to OPD, on April 4 their officers responded to the Kent Kwik at 1000 North Grandview for a call of an aggravated robbery.

When police arrived on scene they learned that a man had tried to take money out of the register before threatening a clerk with a knife. He then fled the scene in a maroon Ford Mustang.

Surveillance video at the store identified the suspect as Navarette, according to OPD.

On April 12 a theft was reported at the 7-Eleven at 6001 Eastridge. Police learned that a suspect, identified as Navarette by surveillance footage, had taken $400 from a register.

Detectives then obtained two warrants for Navarette.
