Glenn & Wendy Swanner Drowned At Lake Livingston

Authorities have recovered a husband and wife who died from apparent drownings at Lake Livingston.

The victims have been identified as Glenn and Wendy Swanner, of Brazoria, according to the Polk County Sheriff's Office. The couple owned a weekend home in the area.

According to Game Warden David Johnson, they began searching for the couple at around 7:45 p.m on Sunday when a boat popped up in the Beacon Bay Marina area without an operator. Personal items were also found on board the boat.

Following the discovery, the Coast Guard was called in to fly over the lake by way of helicopter, but they were unsuccessful in finding the pair.

The woman's body was discovered by a passerby on Monday at around 9:30 a.m. The husband's body was also found by a passerby on Tuesday morning.

There are no known witnesses to what may have led to their deaths.

Foul play is not suspected and the case is pending the results of both autopsies.
