2015 Rainfall Breaks Record

We already knew that 2015 was a very wet year in Texas, but it is now known that this year was the wettest seen in this state since records started being kept in 1895.

Along with that record rainfall came misery for many folks all around the state of Texas. In addition to the many deaths reported, other Texans lost everything they own during May of 2015.

From an economic standpoint, many businesses that owe their very survival to smooth running rivers in Central Texas are now in financial stress after spring flooding closed popular vacation locations from San Marcos to San Antonio and beyond.

It wasn't that many years ago when rather than too much water is was record droughts that caused problems in Texas. Sadly, most droughts end when mother natural opens up the sky and brings forth an abundance of rainfall. That is what happened in 2015 in the state of Texas.
