Mosquitoes In Tyler Test Positive For West Nile Virus

TYLER TEXAS - Some East Texans are figuring out what to do next after learning mosquitoes in their neighborhood tested positive for the West Nile virus. Tyler city officials said a routine mosquito sample taken from the 1400 block of Kidd Drive tested positive for the virus. Tyler Mosquito Control officials went door-to-door on Monday, leaving the fliers for residents. They talk about West Nile and prevention methods but there was no notification that mosquitoes had tested positive for the disease in their area.
