Update – Gov. Abbott Admitted To Hospital For Minor Infection

AUSTIN TEXAS - Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, who suffered second- and third-degree burns on his legs and feet from scalding water, was admitted Monday to Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio because of a minor infection and will receive skin grafts on his feet before he’s released, the governor’s office said in an updated press release. Abbott was in Jackson Hole, Wyo., on Thursday when he was scalded in an accident involving hot water, spokesman Matt Hirsch said, but he provided no further details.
