West Texas 18-Wheeler Fire In Howard County

HOWARD COUNTY - Firefighters from Martin and Howard County were busy Friday morning after an 18-wheeler caught on fire. Howard County Volunteer Fire Chief Tommy Sullivan said the 18-wheeler was traveling from Big Spring to Lamesa with produced water that had been pumped from an oil well. Sullivan said a mechanical failure caused the brake system to overheat and the back tires to catch fire.
