Cruz Takes Texas & Oklahoma In Primary

Just yesterday I thought Donald Trump might be on his way to winning the Texas GOP Primary, but I was wrong and native son Ted Cruz ended up taking the Lone Star prize. Congratulation to Senator Cruz and the same to Donald Trump who won in more than six states on Tuesday as well. Things are very interesting this year in the Republican Party as the old guard can see their power fading away as the voters seem to desire any candidate that is not supported by the establishment of the GOP party. While Hillary Clinton continued to glide toward earning the democratic nomination for President, it appears the Republicans will continue to fight out their battles one state at a time for at least the next few weeks.

Election Day In Texas

Hundreds of thousands of Texans will go to the polls today and decide whether or not they want Donald Trump to lead the Republican Party into the future. Right now, it appears that Ted Cruz will win a small victory in his home state. However, if recent history is any judge there is a good chance that Cruz might win the popular vote in the Lone Star State, but lose in the critical delegate count to Trump. Most folks in the mainstream media are scared to death of Trump and they are pulling out all the stops to prevent him from not only winning the GOP nomination, but the general election as well. I've never seen anything in my life like the 2016 GOP primary and it's likely that there are more surprises to come. Stay tuned.
