Arrested For Deadly Conduct In San Antonio

A 33-year-old woman was jailed Wednesday after she allegedly tried to run a man over with her car and then attempted to pepper spray his brother and 4-year-old nephew.

April Michelle Flores now faces a felony drug possession charge and a misdemeanor deadly conduct charge. She remains in the Bexar County Jail on a $15,000 bond.

According to the arrest affidavit, the victim in the case honked at Flores when she didn't accelerate at a green light around 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 20 at the intersection of Southwest Loop 410 and Old Pearsall Road.

Flores then allegedly crashed into the victim's car as he tried to pass her. She pulled away and then came to an abrupt stop on nearby Bright Valley Drive. The victim followed her, and when he got out of his car to confront her, she suddenly accelerated and tried to pin him between her car and his, the affidavit states.

The victim had to jump on top of Flores' car to avoid being pinned. Flores then backed up and rammed his car again, according to the police report. The victim had to jump off the hood to avoid serious injury, and he fractured a bone in his right hand during the process.
