Driver Twice Legal Alcohol Limit After Crash

The driver of car in an early morning crash in Manor involving a bus was twice over the legal limit, according to the City of Manor.

In a post on the city’s Facebook page, Manor Police were dispatched to the scene at approximately 1 a.m. Saturday morning to the intersection of U.S. Highway 290 and North Lexington Street.

Officers discovered a Kia Optima had collided with the rear of a charter bus that was stopped at a red light.

Austin-Travis County EMS treated and released the driver of the Kia at the scene.

Manor Police officers conducted a DWI investigation and found the driver to be twice over the legal limit after providing officers with a breath specimen.
