Gabriel Almaguer Killed In Travis County Crash

The Texas Department of Public Safety has identified the man who was killed in a wreck in west Travis County Wednesday evening.

DPS said the crash happened at approximately 9 p.m. in the 10300 block of FM 2244, about two miles east of the city of Bee Cave.

Deputies say a 2006 Infiniti G35 was traveling east went around a curve when the vehicle left a roadway on the south side and went over a culvert. The car came to rest at the bottom of a small ravine, where it then caught on fire.

The victim was identified as Gabriel Almaguer, age 29.

Investigators argue it was raining that night, and the roadway speed was 60 mph.
